Itinerary

St. Catherine’s Monastery

Vacations in Egypt representative will pick you up from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh, and then you will be transferred to St. Catherine to visit St, transfer by air-conditioned van or bus to the Saint Catherine city at night will take up to 2.30 hours. Upon arrival some rest before heading for the mountain. The climb, three-hour ascent to the top of 2285 m above sea level starts. The long way will lead you to a stone staircase of 700 steps. Having overcome this last part of the climb, you will find yourself at the top of the mountain. The ascent lasts 3 hours (from 2:00 to 5:00). The time is not chosen by chance, a little rest after climbing, you will be rewarded for your hard work with the view of the sunrise, which on the top of Mount Moses is as beautiful as nowhere else. If you can’t find your way, you can rent a camel, which will take you to the beginning of the stairs.
After descending from the mountain you will visit the monastery of St. Catherine, which has been operating continuously for 16 centuries later on you will be transferred to Dahab City to have some relaxation, Lunch at a local restaurant in Dahab. Then back to your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh.
