Then we will continue our journey until we reach our destination, the ancient land of palm trees, today known as Siwa Oasis, the most isolated and largest of all existing oases in Egypt.

Temple of the Oracle of Amun
The ruins of a temple of the Oracle of Amun, dedicated to the same god. This oracle was consulted by Greek mythological characters such as Hercules and Perseus.
Gebel al-Mawta
After hearing the wonderful stories about temple of the oracle of Amun, we will visit the Roman necropolis of Gebel al Mawta (, better known as “Mountain of the Dead in Siwa Oasis”. This hill with its numerous holes converted into tombs in Roman times keeps inside the tombs of Siamun (son of Ahmose I), Tomb of Mesu-Isi, Niperbathot, and the Crocodile tomb, so-called because of its appearance.
Cleopatra’s baths
Then we will visit a pool of natural waters where it is thought that the Egyptian queen Cleopatra took a shower during her visits to this area “Cleopatra’s baths”. Then Proceed to have your lunch at a local restaurant.

Then continue to the Ruins of the medieval city of Shali built of bricks, earth, salt, plaster, and palm wood.

Once back at the hotel, we will have dinner and rest to return to the Egyptian capital the next day.
