The Al-Alamein Military Museum is one of the most important attractions in the city of Al-Alamein on the North Coast, where thousands of foreign tourists visit the museum annually.
The Al-Alamein Military Museum was opened in the city of Al-Alamein on December 16, 1965, and was reopened after its development on October 21, 1992 (on the fiftieth anniversary of the Battle of Al-Alamein) where England, Germany and Italy participated with information and exhibits.
She added that the museum includes a collection of weapons, tanks and ammunition of the joint forces in World War II, as well as maps of the progress of the battles, and the Monastery of Marmina, which is located 65 km west of Alexandria, and is visited by tourists for healing, in addition to its religious importance for Christians, in addition to the cemeteries of Wadi El Halfawy, which includes the victims of World War II from the Germans and Allied forces, and is located in "Wadi El Halfawy."
The museum consists of five halls and a main foyer with a monument in the center, namely the Common Hall, Italy Hall, Egypt Hall, Germany Hall and Britain Hall.

The museum is divided into three sections: the open-air exhibition area, the permanent exhibition halls, and the temporary exhibition hall.
The open-air exhibition area
A collection of weapons and heavy equipment belonging to the Axis and Allied forces that participated in the Battle of El Alamein, "cannons, troop carriers, tanks, aircraft, and armored vehicles."
Permanent Exhibition Halls
The permanent exhibition halls are divided into two sections: the main foyer and five halls: 'Joint Hall, Britain Hall, Egypt Hall, Germany Hall, Italy Hall'.
Main foyer
It is a space whose sides are decorated with murals that tell the stories of the war and sculpted images of the leaders of the armies participating in the war, including English commander Bernard Montgomery and German commander Erwin Rommel, and maps of the war in the North African countries, as well as some artifacts accompanied by comments and data in English, German and Italian languages in addition to Arabic, and a memorial monument in the center of the main hall, expressing the years of war that ended in peace.
Common Hall
It includes a collection of military artifacts from all the countries that participated in the war, such as a soldier's eating utensils, a model of a soldier, and a soldier's Bible.
