Also, the next day, head to the Giza Plateau to admire the Great Pyramids one of the Seven Wonders of the World—the mysterious Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. In the afternoon, explore the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), a monumental setting that houses the treasures of Tutankhamun and millennia of history.
A domestic flight takes you to Luxor, an open-air museum city. Also, on the east bank, the colossal Karnak complex and its 137 giant columns will leave you speechless, as will the majestic Luxor Temple bathed in golden light. Pyramids of Giza

Egyptian Museum of Antiquities

you will continue your excursion with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, where there are antiques from the Pharaonic period. The museum exhibits a rare collection of 5000 years of art, considered to be the most valuable collection of Egyptian art in the world. More than 25,000 antiquities are on display, including an exhibition devoted to Tutankhamen’s Treasure, furniture and jewelry, kept in his tomb for more than 3,500 years before Howard Carter discovered them in 1922. Then Proceed to have your lunch at a local restaurant.

After visiting the Egyptian Museum go see the beautiful Khan El-Khalili famous souq Cairo main market. Its always crowded with tourists and locals alike. It is the beating heart of the Egyptian metropolis. Lose yourself in the various bazaars where you will really find everything and buy some nice local handicrafts.

After the tour, we will take you back to the train station to travel to Luxor.

Later you will be transferred to Hurghada from Luxor by a private air-conditioned vehicle. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Hurghada.

Baron Empain Palace

If you like the very old architecture, you should go to Baron Empain Palace This reinforced concrete palace in Hindu style and inspired by the temple of Angkor Wat detonates in the Cairo landscape. Designed by a French architect, it was inhabited by a Belgian industrialist who came to Egypt for a railway project. Many stories surround this residence and it is said that it is still haunted by the baron. Then Proceed to have your lunch at a local restaurant.

Babylon Fortress

The Babylon Fortress date of foundation is unknown, although it is known that it already existed a hundred years before Christ
The walls of the fortress, reinforced by the Roman emperors, are 3 meters thick and the towers are 10 meters high and 31 meters in diameter.

Hanging Church

Hanging Church is the most famous church in the Coptic Quarter. it’s known as the Hanging Church because it is built over one of the gates of the Roman fortress, The wooden dome of the church is in the shape of Noah’s Ark, as described in the Old Testament.

Abu Sarga Church

It’s the oldest church in Egypt. It was built in the 5th century over the cave where it is believed, the Holy Family took refuge for several days. It is dedicated to Saints Sergius and Bacchus, part of whose relics are kept in this church.

Saint Barbara Church

It is a church of great historical importance, which was originally dedicated to Saint Cyrus and Saint John. From the 13th century onwards it was dedicated to Saint Barbara as her relics came to this church. It houses some of the oldest and rarest icons of Coptic art.

Ben Ezra’s Synagogue

it was originally a church, but in the 9th century, it was sold to Abraham Ben Ezra, who gave it his name, to get the money needed to pay the high taxes demanded by the Roman government.

Mosque of Amr ibn al-As

The Mosque of Amr ibn al-As in the oldest mosque on the African continent. Its origins date back to the year 642 when the territory of Cairo was occupied by Fustat, the capital of Egypt which at that time had been recently founded.

Yes, 8 days is an ideal duration for a "highlights" tour. It allows for two full days in Cairo, two in Luxor, and three days of relaxation or water sports in Hurghada, keeping the pace brisk but manageable.

To maximize your vacation time, we recommend domestic flights between Cairo and Luxor, and a private air conditioned vehicle or ferry for the transit between Luxor and Hurghada.

The peak season is from October to April when the weather is cooler, making outdoor sightseeing in Cairo and Luxor very comfortable. If you prefer hotter beach weather for Hurghada, the shoulder months of May and September are excellent.

Most standard packages include basic entrance fees to the Pyramids and major temples. However, special sites like the interior of the Great Pyramid or the Tomb of Tutankhamun often require an additional ticket purchased on site.

Pack lightweight, breathable clothing and comfortable walking shoes for the dusty temple sites in Luxor and Cairo. Don’t forget swimwear and high SPF sunscreen for your days in Hurghada.
