Frequently Asked Questions

Absolutely. This timeframe is the "sweet spot" for Egypt. It allows for two days of immersion in Cairo’s history, a classic 3 or 4 night cruise between Luxor and Aswan, and a relaxing 2 night finale on the Red Sea. You get the perfect balance of exploration and relaxation without feeling rushed.

To maximize your 9 days, we recommend flying from Cairo to Aswan (or Luxor) to begin your cruise. After disembarking in Luxor, a private air conditioned vehicle is the most scenic and efficient way to reach Hurghada (approx. 4 hours), passing through the stunning Eastern Desert.

Think in layers. For the temples in Upper Egypt, lightweight cotton or linen clothing and comfortable walking shoes are essential. On the cruise, "smart casual" is the standard for dinner. For Hurghada, don't forget your swimwear, high SPF sunscreen, and snorkeling gear if you prefer your own!

Typically, most comprehensive packages include the "standard" sites like the Giza Plateau and major Nile temples. However, special tickets such as entering the inside of the Great Pyramid or the Tomb of Tutankhamun in the Valley of the Kings usually require a small additional fee on site.

Yes. While the standard is a 4 night cruise, some travelers prefer a shorter 3 night sailing to add an extra night of beach time in Hurghada or a day trip to Alexandria from Cairo. We can adjust the pacing to match your preference for history versus relaxation.
