  • Abu Simbel Temples

The construction of the temple began approximately in 1284 B.C. and lasted about 20 years, until 1264 B.C. It is one of the six hypogea, excavated in the rock.

The purpose of the temple was to impress the southern neighbors and to reinforce the influence of the Egyptian religion in the region. The temple was built in the reign of Ramses II to commemorate his victory in the battle of Kadesh (1274 BC). It is dedicated to the worship of Ramses himself as well as to the worship of the great deities of ancient Egypt, Amun, Ra and Ptah. In this way, the pharaoh was placed as another divinity of the Egyptian pantheon.

Then return to the ship to have lunch and continue sailing until reaching:

  • Kom Ombo Temple

The temple of Kom Ombo is one of the most famous in Egypt because it is completely symmetrical.

Finally, Return to the ship, have dinner and enjoy the night on board.

Day 3Edfu Temple

Meet your tour guide in the morning after having your favorite breakfast and start your new tour on the third day to:

  • Edfu Temple

It dates back to 237 BC during the Hellenistic period after the conquest of Alexander the Great. Its construction took place under the mandate of Ptolemy II who, although they were Greeks, preserved the architectural style and Egyptian traditions. It would be completed in 57 BC with the mandate of Ptolemy XII and would be built on a much smaller temple, also dedicated to Horus.

Return to the ship to have lunch until reaching Luxor. In the evening, start a wonderful tour to:

  • Luxor Temple

This temple is probably the biggest reason why Luxor is known as "the world's largest open-air museum". the Temple is located in the modern city of Luxor in southern Egypt, which is built on the ancient Egyptian capital of Thebes.

Finally, Enjoy the streets of Luxor and the open markets, then return to the ship to spend the night.

Day 4Luxor City tour

After breakfast on the fourth and final day of your trip, you will leave the ship with your tour guide to take a tour to:

  • Valley of the Kings

The Valley of the Kings is located in the city of Luxor, on the West of the Nile River. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This large necropolis, near Luxor, contains more than 60 tombs of pharaohs and nobles of the New Kingdom, one of the most prosperous periods in the history of ancient Egypt.
Among the finds are the chambers of Tutankhamun, Seti I, and Ramses II. It even has an analog of the wives and relatives of the pharaohs, called the Valley of the Queens.

  • Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut

the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut The funerary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, known as Deir el Bahari, name meaning "monastery of the north" and designed by its architect in the royal court, Senenmut, is "the wonder of wonders" of ancient Egypt: it stands on the west bank of the Nile and is partially excavated in the mountain behind which lies the Valley of the Kings.

  • Colossi of Memnon

The Colossi of Memnon are twin statues representing Amenhotep III in a seated position. His hands rest on his knees and his gaze is directed towards the east, in the direction of the Nile River and the rising sun. The statues are carved in blocks of quartzite, brought especially from Giza and the quarries of Gebel el-Silsila, north of Aswan, including the stone bases.

  • Lunch Time

Have lunch in one of the restaurants overlooking the Nile River.

  • Karnak Temple

Finally, You head to the train station to return to Cairo and leave the country to your home country.
