Is one of the most important engineering mega constructions of the 20th century. It was built to alleviate the annual floods and occasional droughts experienced by Egypt. It was built on January 11, 1960, and completed on July 21, 1970.

  • Philae Temple

The temple was rearranged on the island of Agilkia, which was on the island of Elephantine. The building of this temple consists of the mamisi, which is located in the middle, and the mobile one behind it.

  • The Unfinished Obelisk

The interest of the site, the granite quarries, focuses on the area of the gigantic block of stone in the quarry, the unfinished obelisk of Hatshepsut, cut on all sides but one, three of its faces are separated, but due to some cracks that was made during the work of cutting and polishing the obelisk from the quarry, they could not finish or remove the obelisk. The unfinished obelisk is 42 m high and weighs 1267 tons.
