It includes many Islamic landmarks and historical mosques of Islamic importance, including the Mosque of Al-Hassan bin Saleh Zain Al-Abidin, which is the only mosque in Egypt that has two qiblas, and a group of domes, including the dome of Prince Ziyad Al-Fadl bin Al-Harith bin Amr of the Messenger of God. Al-Bahnasa is nicknamed "the second Baqi" due to the large number of martyrs who were martyred there during the Islamic conquest of Minya. Sheikh Abada It is located 8 kilometers east of the city of Mallawi. It was built by Emperor Hadrian to commemorate his friend Antinous, who drowned in the Nile. It was also called the city of Antinopolis, and the remains of the Temple of Ramses II were found there. It also has a large cemetery from several eras, including the Pharaonic era, the Greek era, and the Roman era. Tuna El-Gebel Located 67 kilometers southwest of Minya city, it was formerly an area called Ashmunin Archaeological Site. Its most important monuments are the tomb of Petosiris, the high priest from the Greco-Roman era, in addition to the mummy of Isadora, the martyr of pure love.
